Interiors

In 2011 Wooltex UK entered into a partnership with its major customer Kvadrat who purchased a 30% stake in the company. Based in Denmark, Kvadrat is a family owned business that has been developing beautifully designed interior textiles for over four decades. Supplying a range of sectors with premium quality curtaining and upholstery, the company is involved in over 3000 building projects a year worldwide.

Renowned for excellence in design and sales, their collaboration with Wooltex UK has enabled Kvadrat to become directly involved in manufacturing, creating a seamless supply chain with significant benefits for clients worldwide. This has allowed the introduction of exciting new fabrics to clients in Europe and emerging markets and across all sectors from hospitality to transportation.

Arlanda Express

Our fabrics, designed by Kvadrat were selected for the Arlanda express, a Swedish express train that offers the fastest transport link between Stockholm Central station and Arlanda airport.

Seats were made from Clara in four colours. The designers chose Clara as they wanted a strong, fire resistant and ecologically focused fabric. The Arlanda express is primarily used by business travellers – the fabric met their requirements for life, movement and colour.

Roksanda Ilincic Flagship Store

The flagship store is located in a grade 11 listed building in Mayfair. In the shop the mainly neutral colour palette is complemented with bursts of colour and mirrored surfaces which guide visitors. The office spaces contrast with this by combining vibrant blocks of colour, the walls are covered with fabric panels and soft finishes.

Divina and Divina melange have been used to create this effect in the seating in the shop and wall panels in numerous areas.
